Here's a church in Newport, RI on Christmas Eve... where I spent a few hours earlier this evening. Interestingly enough, I also got one of the most summer like photos I've ever taken while wandering around the wharfs of Newport. A seagull posed very nicely for me... probably because it was cold and didn't want to fly off into the wind.

This is tonight's sunset for those of you who didn't look out the window or who don't live in New England. There was a nice crisp wintery feel in the air as I took the photo, though it's not officially winter until 7:22 EST tonight.
Also, I re-worked the portfolio section of the website. There are more photos than I had in there before, but the big change is the way the photos are displayed. It's all done with Flash now. I did test it so it should work fine, but let me know if you have any problems with it so I can fix it if there are any.

My mother has picked up wood carving as a hobby and this snowman is one of her projects. At the moment, she's making just enough to send out to friends and family.
At the end of the weekend I should have a few new photos to show you. I'm going to see the mansions in Newport, RI this weekend and I plan to get some photos of their Christmas decorations.
