One of the first stops on my cross country trip last summer was in Pittsburgh. I went to the Pirates-Orioles game that night, but earlier in the day I was in the city to pick up my ticket and take some pictures. What you see here is a nice little panorama shot of the baseball stadium. In the lower left corner is my truck.

Site News: There is now a link in the landscape section of the portfolio that allows you to buy prints of those pictures. I'm working on setting up the rest of the portfolio sections so that you can buy prints of all of the photos I have in there.

After spending some time as my computer geek alter ego, I have reworked the look of this website. You will now need flash to see the site properly, but most of you have that anyway.

Over the next day or two, I'll be setting up an easy way for you to buy prints of the photos you see here. The plan is that as you view the photos in the portfolio section, you'll be able to click a link that will take you directly to a page where you can buy as many as many prints as you want.

It's been a good couple of days for thunderstorms where I live. Friday morning there were a few good cracks of thunder to wake me up and there was a quick storm that raced through this evening.

Today's storm was fairly powerful and started off with hail for about a minute or two. The lightning and thunder weren't that intense, but there was a lot of rolling thunder and wind. After the rain stopped, I went outside to grab a few pictures because the trees were all lit up by the sun with the dark clouds behind them. As I was taking pictures, this incredible rainbow formed so I started shooting. I haven't seen a rainbow this good in a long time, and I was very happy to have my camera in my hand when it revealed itself.

I am working on a new look for this website. The content won't change much.... it's really just an aesthetic change. You'll be able to see the fresh new look on June 1st.

Last year at this time I was finalizing plans for my trip across America. This year I have no such plans as my main focus at this point is geting this photography business to be a major success.

I think it's safe to say that spring has officially arrived in New England. Almost all of the trees have leaves now and the flowers have been blooming for a few weeks.

I spent some time this afternoon playing with bees in my back yard. Actually, they pretty much ignored me as I took pictures of them buzzing around some flowers.

I came up with a pretty good idea last night. At least I think it's a good idea. Here it is... I go to Red Sox games, take people's photos outside of the park before the game starts, give them a business card or two, then have the photos available for them to look at, share, and buy on this website by the time they get home.

Yesterday I bought an old Polaroid camera at a flea market for $2. The photo quality isn't spectacular, but to me it's the photographic equivalent of listening to records. Well, I guess you'd have to be a photo geek like me to understand
