An Old Film Photo and the Future

http://www.gregburt.com/blogimages/2006/04/edge-sm-thumb.gifThe picture I included in this post is one I took about 6 years ago, and is one of the last pictures I ever took using film. During spring break of my senior year in college there was a ski club trip to Jackson Hole in Wyoming, and this shot was near the top of the mountain as one of my friends peered over the edge of a nearly vertical drop where a lot of the thrill seekers liked to attempt to ski down.

Acutally, it was that spring break trip that partially inspired me to do the cross country trip last summer. I always wanted to get back to that area of the country because it's an amazing place to be if you're a nature geek like me.

In the next few weeks I plan to start an advertising campaign. I'm hoping to get some gigs for weddings, family portraits, etc. Basically I'm looking to earn some cash by taking pictures of people in non-studio settings. When I get a nice looking ad together, I'll post it here.
